The nowadays mostly used peppermint has bee raised in 1696 in the garden of an English gardener. It is a hypridation of the mediterranean green mint (Menta spicata) and the native watermint (Menta aquatica). We use frankish peppermint, which is heavenly aromatic and refreshing in taste.
